The KPMI® Solid Tappet Conversion Valve Spring kit for the Maverick X3 replaces the OEM hydraulic tappet tappet unit with a lightweight precision manufactured solid unit. By removing the OEM hydraulic unit, considerable weight savings are made. This allows the KPMI® valve spring kit to control the valvetrain at higher boost pressures, higher RPM’s and with larger camshafts. The KPMI solid tappet is CNC machined from high tensile strength bar stock, heat treated, ground and lapped for a precision unit. The lightweight titanium retainer included is designed to house a standard Ø7.5mm lash adjustment shim.
